I first started leading Women‘s Circles because I saw a need for women to support one another, specifically during the holiday season. As I created a place for women to gather at this time of year, so many responded back with a “thank you” and a sharing of their true need for a place of respit and unconditonal community during this time. The holidays can be a wonderful time of year, but for those who have experienced any kind of loss, the loss of a loved one – even if the loss is no longer recent or any kind of disconnection from family or community, this time of year heightens those feelings and having support is essential. We gather together as women to celebrate this season, to support one another through our unique circumstances and to be bathed in the love and self-care we so need especially at this time of year.
“The greatest gift we can give to another is our own happiness.” Esther Hicks
We must remember to feed and nourish ourselves before we can purely and effectively give to our families, communities and world.
In our monthly women’s circle we intend to create a space to gather, support and celebrate one another as fellow women. There are so many demands upon our lives, and having a soft place to land in a circle of support is essential. We recognize the growing call for women to step into their power, take full responsibility for their lives, and move forward into the work each one of us deep down knows we are meant to do in this lifetime. The more women are given opportunities to be in the flow of giving their gifts while at the same time receiving the support they need as they do so, the more our families, communities and world benefit.
This women’s gathering and celebration is a wonderful and inclusive place to make meaningful connections with women of all ages. There is so much to celebrate in our lives and the simple act of taking pause to connect to ourselves one another and nature as a conscious practice of pure gratitude is a main theme we will continually weave into our time together. Each person who comes contributes to the uniqueness of the circle, therefore YOU are an essential part! Some meetings will be held partially outside, weather permitting, to allow us to connect with nature and to enrich our experience of ceremony among the elements. Please bring a journal to each meeting.
