“Honoring Our Sacred Wounds”:  Rebecca Coffey at the Healthy Living Expo

Rebecca is a survivor of childhood incest and shares her own journey of healing and re-empowerment. She encourages others to honor their own life journeys and to bless and integrate every life experience on the individual’s path of soul evolution and in being of service to others.

She states: “I truly believe that everything that has occurred in my life has been a part of my soul’s plan to grow and evolve. It is in the place of compassion and in not rejecting those traumatized parts of myself where I have found my greatest wisdom, direction and strength.”

Rebecca offers insight and tools to go into the body to find guideposts and direction to work with traumatized or frozen parts. She also stresses the importance of self-compassion in the healing process as this enables one to integrate rather than reject wounded parts of the self. “The wound does not disqualify us, the wound is our portal to finding our true power, which in its purest form will naturally uplift others in our community and our world. The wound has had a purpose all along.”
